RCS Book Drive
Many of us with more than one student find that over the years we accumulate multiple copies of class reading material such as Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver’s Travels, and The Wind in the Willows. Here’s your chance to do some spring cleaning while helping out a good cause. I am organizing a book drive to collect school books for donation to Nightwalker Enterprises (www.nightwalkerent.com). This is a local nonprofit that helps provide, among other things, much-needed school supplies to Native American Reservations. A collection box for the books will be available in the foyer, near the front office from Monday, April 14, through the end of the school year.
Morning Fresh Dairy Caps
The art department is kicking off a new fundraiser just for them on Monday, April 21. It is called “Caps 4 Cash” and is sponsored by Morning Fresh Dairy. It’s really easy; just save CAPS from ANY Morning Fresh glass jug. Rinse THOROUGHLY and place in the labeled “cow” box in the foyer. The Dairy will contribute $.05 for every cap we save. If you are not a Morning Fresh customer, check them out at www.morningfreshdairy.com. They have competitively priced organic milk and other products delivered at no additional charge right to your door 2x/week. Help an existing customer by listing them as a referral; they can receive a $25 milk credit! This program really is a win/win for the dairy and us.
