Volunteering

Registering to Volunteer
Every Ridgeview volunteer needs to register with Poudre School District before they will be allowed to check into the school with a valid name badge. You can register in one of three ways:

  1. Download and complete an application , then return it to the front office at Ridgeview.
  2. Go to the volunteer desk in the RCS lobby, fill out a form on the clipboards provided, and give the completed application to the front office.
  3. Go online to the PSD website and fill out an application.

Next you will need to sign and return a Ridgeview Confidentiality Agreement . This is also available at the volunteer desk at the school; however, it is not on the PSD website.

Once you have applied, you will receive an e-mail from PSD that your application is in progress. If you do not get this initial e-mail within three days, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, as your application may not have been completed in full. The application process can take up to ten business days. After you are cleared, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the RCS Volunteer Coordinator indicating that you can come into the school office with your picture ID to pick up a blue name badge. You will also be informed about how you will be contacted in the future regarding volunteer opportunities.

Updating Contact Information
If you have moved or changed any of your contact information, please DO NOT re-register online at the PSD website (option 3 above). This creates an additional fee of $6.50 for the school each time this happens. Instead, please fill out an application (options 1 or 2 above) and write "update only" on the top.
