Dr. Zaunbrecher

Where were you born and where have you lived?

I grew up in South Louisiana, between the rice fields of Rayne and the oaks of Grand Coteau.

Where did you attend university or college?

I then called Lafayette, Louisiana home while I attended college at the University of Louisiana. Graduate school pulled me to Fort Collins in 2008 and I decided to remain here after graduating from CSU.

What kind of reading do you most enjoy doing?

My favorite types of books are fiction but I do enjoy non-fiction stories, especially if they involve a good adventure.

What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable?

I really appreciate getting to enjoy the Colorado sunrises and sunsets from the quiet of my porch or the peak of a good hike or bike ride.

What are your favorite snacks?

My favorite snack is food, but I tend to reach for dark chocolate the most often.

What do you do to unwind?

There are few better things than getting to spend time unwinding from the day over a great meal and conversation with friends and family.

How could a parent volunteer help you most?

I would love to see volunteers help out with the numerous physics demonstrations that I am planning, but if spinning around at 120 rpm’s does not sound favorable, I could probably use help organizing the equipment after it gets used.
