Mrs. O’Loughlin is looking forward to leading another group of excited fourth graders through Europe during the Middle Ages, the respiratory and circulatory systems, Sherwood Forest with Robin Hood and the Merry Men, the American Revolution, Lilliput with Gulliver, natural disasters and meteorology, and to Treasure Island with Jim and Long John Silver.
Growing up in New Mexico, she worked with children of all ages in after school and summer camp environments. She earned her AA in Elementary Education between having and raising four small children, and went back to earn her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education) and Colorado Teacher’s License from Western Governor’s University.
She has been a part of the extended Ridgeview family since 2007, when her sister-in-law joined the high school. Since then, she has spent time as a parent volunteer, CVC, student teacher, substitute in the elementary and upper schools, and in her favorite role as fourth grade teacher.
Mrs. O’Loughlin enjoys spending time with her family, including her own little Hoplites, traveling, kayaking, hiking, riding bikes, reading, and crafting.
