ABOUT THE CHARACTER PICNIC:
Please join us for a day of food and fun to celebrate the end of the academic year. Activities include inflatable games, a bounce house, petting zoo, and more!
LOCATION: EDORA PARK
DATE: MAY 24, 2019 FROM 10AM TO 2PM
Dress code is Denim Friday attire, which is free dress on the lower half and a dress code shirt or a Ridgeview-affiliated t-shirt on top. No short shorts, mini skirts, high heels, pants with holes, rips, shreds, etc., or extremely tight pants are allowed.
TRANSPORTATION, DROP OFF, AND PICK UP:
School drop-off and pick-up will be at the regular times on Friday. Ridgeview will not require a permission form for the End-of-Year Picnic. All students in 1st-11th grades will be walking to Edora Park to participate in the festivities. If you do NOT want your student to attend the picnic, we ask that you please keep them home and their absence will be excused. Please let the attendance office know if you do not plan on attending. If you wish to pick up your child at the park, you must sign him/her out from their elementary teacher or upper school head chaperone.
Grades K and 12 do not have school on Friday, May 24 and will require their own transportation to and from the park. Parents MUST attend the picnic with Kindergartners.
In the event of rain or bad weather, the picnic will be cancelled and there will be no school on Friday. Please keep an eye out for communication from the administration regarding a potential cancellation via email, social media, the Ridgeview website, and Remind.
Additionally, each grade is asked to contribute food for the picnic:
Grades 1-3: Chips
Grades 4-6: Dessert
Grades 7-9: Fruit or veggies
Grades 10-12: Cases of water bottles
