Where were you born and where have you lived?
I was born in Columbus, Ohio and went to college in Claremont, California. After I graduated, I got a job in Berthoud, Colorado with an aerospace startup and have been living in Northern Colorado since then.
Where did you attend university or college?
I attended Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California and earned my B.S. in engineering with a technical concentration in fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Growing up in Columbus, I also had the opportunity to take classes at Ohio State, so I can vouch for them as well.
What kind of reading do you most enjoy doing?
I really enjoy fantasy and sci-fi. I grew up with Harry Potter, but I’ve been known to read anything that’s left in front of me for too long.
What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable?
Amassing coffee cups, fuzzy blankets, time with family and friends, and breathing deeply in the mountains.
What are your favorite snacks?
My go-to right now is grapes with Greek Yogurt, but I’ve been known to spend an embarrassing amount of time and money in cheese shops.
What do you do to unwind?
If it’s a rainy day, I like to collect a book, a cat, a blanket and a cup of tea and ignore the world for a while. Otherwise, I lift weights or run in order to stay mentally and physically healthy.
How could a parent volunteer help you most?
It seems like making copies is a pretty popular response, so if a parent volunteer is willing to do that, I would appreciate it!
